The Interviewer

The Interviewer's job is to write and ask good questions that will allow the interviewee to reflect and recall memories and stories that shaped his/her life.  Great questions are open-ended, and it is the Interviewer's job to pull facts, stories and anecdotes, images, values and ideas, and connections to history at large from the interviewee.
What are good questions to open with?  What information might be helpful before you begin?  What if the interviewee doesn't seem comfortable with the questions?  There are many tips and ways to improve how you handle an interview from the links below!
